I lost my job.
Since I haven’t vent for a while. I decide to get back on…starting NOW.
SO today my supervisor told me not to come in for the following week. As soon as he told me that, I already had a feeling that, “that’s it Minnie, this is the warning, you are getting fired!” Why? I have no clue. I would want to know too.
But before I gave a call to my “boss” (which is my supervisor’s brother) to find out what is the reason, I decided to ask my co-workers first. So one of my co-workers told me that I’m not the only one that had been told the same by the SAME PERSON. I immediately didn’t feel as bad but still, I lost my job. The reason is because I’ve seen girls come and go and how long I’ve been working there? 2 months? 3 months? I dk but yeah. As of a matter of fact, I kind of witnessed it myself. One of the girls that had left encountered the same thing as me but her experience was more cruel haha. She was told to leave in middle of the day. I’m guessing by my supervisor? And it was the last time I seen her at work. At first I thought she didn’t feel well and wanted to go home. But now I know what is the real reason.
And let me tell you something. It’s never that great to work for and with Asians. They do expect a lot from you. They probably don’t train you in the beginning because they expect you to know everything on first hand. So the best thing for you to do is just GUESS. Don’t ask for every little thing. Guess it. Maybe you’ll do it right.
Yes, I am sad that I lost my job because where can I find a job that pays me $8 an hour off the book nowadays BUT if every time I walk in the doors and feel unhappy being at the place or the peer pressure then I don’t think this job really suit me. Right?
